This morning, we woke up at 9 a.m. We lounged around for a little while before getting ready. My stepmother and sisters went to their women's fashion accessory store to prepare for any potential customers brought in by the local car show down the street. The car show was very cool. We got some neat pictures, too. The store was very nice. The accessories they carry include women's jewelry, fashion hats, and purses. I even got a nice hat while I was there!

From the store, we got back in the car and headed to the Rose Hill mausoleum to pay our respects to my late mother, who passed away from breast cancer in 1986. We got some pretty mums for her and placed it in the mausoleum. I think the colors from the mums added a nice touch to the place.

Shortly after the visit to the memorial site, we drove back into Arcadia and got a quick bite to eat at the Hop Li restaurant. For a quick meal, it was very good! We had chicken and Chinese vegetables, sauteed Chinese green beans, and sweet Chinese barbecue pork. Mmm......

We went back to the house and rested on the couch until it was time to get ready for our small wedding celebration reception in L.A. The reception included close family and friends in the Los Angeles area. In all, there were 22 people. It was very nice. Some of the food included a cold appetizer meat and jellyfish dish, shark fin soup, lobster, Chinese vegetables with mushrooms and Abalone, Red Snapper, special pork fried rice, and a red bean dessert. Yummy!

After the reception, we went over to my aunt's house. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by my aunt and cousin's two dogs. One of them is a Teacup Chihuahua who looks just like our dog, L.D. Man, do we miss our furry ones! My lovely cousin, Share, took my sisters to the local bubble tea place to get some bubble tea for all of us. Yum! What a great way to end the night!
